PRESERVING THE PAST
_______________________________________________________________________________________
The Marlborough Preservation Society is currently working with the town cemetery committee and the Coalition of Diversity & Equity to establish a monument to commemorate all the 'black' and 'colored' residents of Marlborough from the 1700s and 1800s.
We will be at the Cemetery Committee meeting on March 21st, 2024 at 9a at the Senior Center to provide further information.
This meeting is open to the public.
The mission of the Marlborough Preservation Society is to promote, educate and advocate for the preservation of the town's history in regards to sites, structures, buildings, and/or objects.
Through the collective efforts of the society and the community we can preserve the town's history.
Marlborough Preservation Society is a community-based non-profit organization focused on education, promotion, and preservation of the town's history. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our community.
All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to our dedication to preserve the town's history. For a complete list of services, CLICK HERE.
